Zendrokat v2.3 Badadroid Rom Update

z

Another Update for the renowned Badadroid Rom Zendrokat, by the developer Tigourzen.

This update is more like an update under the hood.

Change log:

  • Browser last revision, private browser + optimization (much smoother),
  • Last cam revision. Front camera is now working,
  • GPS patch has been integrated in the ROM and is working fine
  • General performance optimizations

Install notes:

After downloading the “clockworkmod.zip”, extract it and put it on root directory of your SD card.
Then boot into “Recovery Mode”. Go to “Miscellaneous Nand Settings” and untick “MD5 check”! Otherwise installation will fail!
Important:  format your system : Mount and Storage > format /system

For installation you need restore rom again for users who have allready installed Zendrokat before but without format so as to have good system performance)
After the above procedure restore the ROM like other ZenDroKat ROMS. No need to wipe. So there will be no data loss.

Don’t forget Wave II need patch after the installation:  bt+wifi

Hi Emmanuel, if you are facing the problem of a blank screen i would suggest you to carry out the installation on a fresh bada Rom after flashing with multiloader and then try to install badadroid, be patient on installing badadroid for the 1st time because the 1st boot takes a while ranging from 1-5 mins. I hope this helps you out.

I am facing the same problem. Its completely blank even after 5 mins. If I go back to Zendrokat 2.0 its working fine.

Buddy just try to reflash your bada using Multiloader v5.67 and then carry out a fresh installation of badadroid. I’m sure then everything will work fine.

2 After copied the zimage file into sd card & insert to the phone and again flash with armlinux_boot_NAND_S8530 file.
3 After Copied Zimage file and clockworkmod folder into sd card.
4 Starting with recovery mode choose restore & backup menu then restore choose rom 2013-10… and Yes – Restore
    But it says restore failed.

some times restore process after 290 mb done says restore error….

The only mistake you did is that you copied the zimage into the SD card, instead you should have copied it into your phone memory

It’s just a Android clock widget .apk file used instead of the regular android clock

Hey, after flashing fota and bootfiles the screen either goes black or a wave icon appears with file not found above it? also the zimage should be copied to the sd card to to the phone memory?
